1. Information We Collect
StepEasy may collect account details such as your name, email address, profile information, subscription status, and app settings. Health and activity features may store step count, workouts, distance, calories, heart rate entries, sleep sessions, weight entries, diet plans, and related fitness records that you choose to create or sync.
2. How We Use Information
We use your information to provide app features, sync your data across devices, show progress and analytics, manage subscriptions, improve reliability, send account and payment emails, and protect the service from misuse.
3. Payments and Subscriptions
Payments may be processed by Razorpay or Google Play Billing. StepEasy stores payment identifiers, plan type, subscription status, start date, and expiry date. We do not store full card, UPI, banking, or payment credential details.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited data with service providers needed to run the app, such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, crash diagnostics, payment processing, and legal compliance providers.
5. Health Data
Health and fitness data is used only to provide StepEasy features requested by you. You can control device permissions from your phone settings. If you revoke permissions, some tracking features may stop working.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your data while your account is active or as required for legal, billing, security, and backup purposes. You may request account deletion from the app, after which your account is scheduled for permanent deletion according to the in-app deletion flow.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please keep your password private and report suspicious activity.
